Dont use the traxxas 2075 unless you dont plan on ever working the truck on anything other than fairly smooth ground. If you plan to use the truck, get a good servo! OH & get rid of the servo saver....

You could flip your shocks to get the weight lower as well. mirror the transmition to help with the torque twist.

& yah like everyone sais the smallre battery makes a huge differance! So do good tires & weight.
I know I want to get that servo saver out of there, Is there a servo you recommend? And where can I find weights for the tires, can't seem to find them anywhere.

for weights I just go to the local tire store and get them or you can get them from your local auto parts store. as for a servo I use the hitec 7955 it has 333oz of torque at 6v works great there are better ones with more torque but for the price this works just fine
here is a link for you to check it out TowerHobbies.com | 37955S Hitec HS-7955TG Digital HT Titanium Gear Coreless Servo

The 645 is an ok upgrade from stock, but generally speaking you should get the most powerful servo you can afford.

I ran a Hitec 7955 in my ax10 for a long time before I moved it into my berg, then dropped a JR 8711 in the ax10 (~340oz/in). There are still times when I wish both had more torque.

its not realy over kill I ran the 645mg and it was fine but when in a tight spot on a climb it just didn't have the torque to turn or get out of binds.

Yeah I can see that, well just an update I had the rig out this past weekend and i can't tell what is to blame, but i miss the "drag brake" feature, so i'm second guessing the traxxas vx5 esc. however i'm also unhappy with the fact that when when I switch direction from forward to reverse I have to stop in the neutral position before it will travel in reverse. so i'm back on the tekin kick. Im gonna give the 645mg a shot, I dont have a ton of spare cash at the moment, and I want to thank everyone for the advice on the parts.

Here are some a few pics I snapped this past weekend, my trip was cut short, unfortunately, due to a dead battery... The pics were taken with my phone and zoomed in as far as I could, the rock wall was really tall, right around 40'. I made it about 1/3 of the way up before I couldn't see what I was really doing, will be going back to this location this coming weekend.

I know its been along time but i finally have an update. I have added wheel weights to the tires, taped automotive stick on weights the wheel, under the tires. its been so long i can't remember the amount 6oz in the front 4oz in the rear i believe. I also have added a HS-985MG servo for steering. And most recently i have waterproofed my sr300 receiver. I have had the chance to get it out a few times this past month and yesterday on the 4th snapped a few shots of her crawling up a creek at the In-laws condo...

In action
