Toe in, out or zero?

From rc racing, I know the effects of different toe settings on a vehicle. But what about crawlers? Toe in would help it track better in a straight line (not real important in a crawler) but what about toe out or zero degrees? Whats your preference? FYI, I'm running the GC3A chassis.

unless you run zero ackerman knuckles I run toe out, get a little bit more steering angle from what i've seen.

(zero on zero ackerman knuckles)

I agree with fred, on stock knuckles I like a bit of toe out Dawg.

Ackerman knucks, tie rod in front: toe out
Ackerman knucks, tie rod in back (BTA): toe in
Zero ack: straight ahead

You want the outside tire to turn sharpest, generally that tire will have the most traction.

When setting up a tierod for Ackerman knuckles, turn both wheels to full lock in one direction, then measure for tierod length.

The finished tie rod will have either toe in or toe out, but you will get closer to zero ackerman when fully turned.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. I'm running Axial aluminum C's and high steer knucks, nothing too fancy. I'll try a degree or two of toe out and see how she does .
