I was very happy with my GC-3A. But the width of the skid bothered me. And having to run a body, I kept running into problem with the hood hitting my servo.

After seeing 4XFords sportsman truck it inspired me to build this. I was like, why didn't I think of that before??? Pure genius to run the spur in the center of the chassis so its at the widest part.

I have always loved driving my 2.2 sporty truck. Whenever I get burned out on the Pro Comp scene. I'll run a comp with my sporty truck in the pro class And do my best to beat Josh

I've been working with DaveC getting some chassis templates made so I can have this chassis professionally made.

Here are some drawings. Let me know what you think.

I finally bought some wheels for this truck too. Narrowed DH's and 1" V4's. (Thanks Jaybe!)

I had some old Rovers laying around. So I siped and clapped em out I think they are going to work well.

That's all the updates for now...

Yeah, on the rear tires I cut the lugs off in the car on the way to SuperDaves for a comp, while the wheels were mounted on the truck! lol Wasn't the best idea in the world!

everybody has to have somebody too "try" and beat, isnt that competition. needless too say this truck is defineately capable of doing it, if the driver wasnt so emo. by the way you would be proud of jon and i we found a new tom line at highrocks

I finally did some work on this truck today... DaveC is almost done drawing up the chassis for me!

I made a new rear link mount and Servo mount out of 1/4" delrin. There is a row of holes in the sides of the rear link mount. To change the clocking of the back axle.

I also decided to try out a 16t crawlmaster pro in place of my 480 puller.

All the transmission gears are holding up great!!!

First thing I had to do was make up a new motor plate.

All cut out and bolted up.

The motor is as tight as you can get it against the skid and the transmission case.

It weighs exactly 2.0 ounces more than the old motor. The gearing is currently at 12/90, but the mesh is a little tight. So I'm going to see if a 14/87 will fit properly.

Thank you.

I almost forgot to mention that I mirrored the transmission so that the motor hangs out the passenger side. It should help with some of the torque twist I was getting.
