Default Ax10 moa four wheel steer project

I have an axial ax10 roller that I got as a bonus when i bought a scx10 on ebay. Well u want to make it a pretty sweet rig so I want it to have moa and four wheel steer well it already has four wheel steer but not the moa. I figure the current steering won't work on the moa so I will probably have to buy that all over again. And here is my dilemma I can't find any moa housings or kits for my truck a link or a direction to where to find a decent set without breaking the bank

Your ax10 axles aren't going to do you much good in this project. You should be looking for xr10 or berg v1 axles.

I would sell the ax10 as a roller or throw electronics in it and sell rtr then be on the lookout for an xr10 roller or something like that. You can usually catch a deal on here sometimes in the for sale section!

Cheaper in the long run rather than try and make xr10 axles work with what you already have.

The ax10 can be a very good rig, I loved mine I had a few years back.

But like I mentioned I would look for an xr10 roller or something like that.

Good luck

these are what you are asking for, you need obviously two to make a complete rig, these come with servo mounting hardware to make both axles steerable.

The ax10 can be and is a very nice rig, great for a " beginner" all the way up to advance... you can upgrade that thing till your bank runs dry just about lol...
It can be a very capable crawler as well...

you can have a very capable rig, simply by running some good gripping tires such as rovers or boss claws, a nicer servo such as a hs7950th, under drive gears, and a 45 turn motor such as a tekin heavyduty and simply run the stock suspension/shocks at half droop... the under drive gears will get rid of the torque twist for you... that setup is basically what I ran 5 yrs ago... it was a great crawler considering the amount of dough I put into it..,... now Is a different story... lol trying to make it as capable as possible.... haha, hope to comp soon with the westcoast crawlers!

That would be a HSP Pangolin or simllar cheap AX10 rip off. Some AX parts will fit, some wont.

ok well through process of elimination i am agreeing that it is a knock off of the ax-10 but from the looks if this with the all aluminum links and side rails it seems pretty sturdy. so im going to swap out the battery tray and motor plate and get some decent 120mm shocks and make it move so i can drive it and find any other issues with it. thanks guys for your input

after checking out your suggestion that is exactly what this rig is. it is an older model one with the vw beetle body. but it should make a good base for building a very awesome rig. thanks again to all you guys for your input.

narrow the skid/chassis and cut a slot for the motor to sit outside of the chassis... a good width for the skid would be 1.25'' -1.5'' that's what I did with my true ax10 and it actually does rather well!
if you plan on doing comps... don't do 4 wheel steer! its illegal for most clubs except for the top truck challenges I believe....
