Jeremy, your my friend and a friend should be able to say anything to a friend and a friend shouldn't get mad at what a friend is telling him.

But God that body is ugly. Put a sticker on it or something.
Write (body are for shaftys )on it, something.

Love you,
Ricky

I gotta agree with Ricky, break up the yellow with some sweet GCRCRC stickers. But then again I think all bodies are ugly after a few packs....cough......bodiless in 2.2s 2013....cough......

Jeremy, thanks for the tips via Highkucks. I have almost completed the rebuild of my GC3a using this thread as a guide. Gave it a run yesterday in our local comp, and very pleased with the performance, even though I have as yet to replace the shocks. Are you running under/overdrive, and if so what ratios? Cheers.

Old man,

that's good to hear that the tips helped.

Yes, I run the overdrive and underdrive gears in this truck. Here are the parts I used:
TowerHobbies.com | AX30401 Axial Heavy Duty Bevel Gear Set 36T/14T AX10
TowerHobbies.com | AX30402 Axial Heavy Duty Bevel Gear Set 43T/13T AX10

Though, looking back, I think I'm just confused.

I worked on the steering for this thing over the weekend:

Creation Fab tubes, VP Wraith knuckles and c-hubs, CC XR Bent tie rod and new XR shafts. This setup comes in at about 1/4" wider overall than my previous setup.....but with a TON more steering.

Knuckles weights coming soon.

Thanks!

The balance point currently sits right between the chassis bolts for the front lower link mounts......without any added weight. I'm thinking that it wont take much to get just a tad more bias.

Nope....I just finished it up last night. We had a comp on Saturday and this truck drove well.......for 2 of the 3 courses. I tanked one course...

I'll be driving it sometime this week!
