RC4WD R2 Dig Tranny issues!!!!!!

Im sure this has been covered already but i dont want to look through 400+ threads to find it so here goes... I recently bought a used ax10. Truck was in good running condition with r2 dig tranny except the dig didnt work correctly. Ive tried everything from lock tite on the screws to recently drilling ojt the sleves that hold the dig on, only to have them rip out over and over. Any ideas? Or buy a better dig setup?

I just ordered a complete Wraith tranny from RPP's salvage yard. Planning to swap my stock AX tranny with the DNA DIG for it once I gather a few more parts (like the DIG conversion kit). Keep an eyeon their salvage yard, they are always parting out kits.
