| To long
I have had my ax10 for a few years and put on some bent links on the rear before a get together and when I went to go through tech inspection my wheel base was like a 1/4in to long. Has anyone else had this issue, I really dont know where to make an adjustment to correct this other than to cut down the links. Please give your advice thanks

If you can use shorter rod ends, that might help. If not, the links are what set your wheelbase so adjustments have to be made there.

I'm running bents front and rear, still outboard of the chassis. IIRC, the fronts I've moved back to the 2nd of the 3 holes on the chassis, and the rears I think I have as far forward as I can get 'em. Just glad I found out about that when I did, as I have some plans in Sketchup for a custom skidplate, (which I'm quite certain will never be made). Would have seriously ticked me off if I'da made that with the dims for the outermost holes and then found out I was too long. |

Yea I was kinda surprised when I found out that it was to long with the bent rears. I guess I will be cutting them down to make it comp legal again.

Mine were to long also, I just switched to the short rod ends at both ends. (Inboard mounted)

I too had the same issue. I removed the rod ends and cut 1/8 from each located at the skid plate. All done , before the tech inspection was complete.
