I do not have CKRC knuckles, but they should fit without modification. The only thing you will need to drill are your hexes.

Original thread had details if I recall correctly. About cutting, drilling, thread locking bearings, etc.

Here are the instructions that were included: Step 1 - Disassemble the front axle. Once disassembled, you will need to modify the inside of the ring gear. Inside the opening where the shaft goes through the gear, you will notice an inner step inside the opening. The material that makes up that step needs to be removed to allow for the new larger shafts to go through the gear. Once removed, you are ready to re-install the ring gear on the locker. (use a little loctite on the ring gear screws) Step 2 - Install the new locker provided. (you may want to shim the ring and pinion for proper alignment/engagement) Step 3 - Re-assemble housing Step 4 - Install new tube and bearings. (the bearings at the outer end of the axle tube, 11x6x4 green seal) Step 5 - Re-install C's (making sure that the retention screws dont contact the inner shafts) Step 6 - Install new Super 300 shafts. (pay attention to the fact that the inner shafts are different lengths now) Use a small amount of loctite on the bearing surface where the tube end will ride to secure the bearing to the shaft. Once the shafts are installed, re-install the knuckles with the new outer bearings installed (11x6x4). (making sure that the knuckle screws don't contact the cvd pin retention ring) Step 7 - Pack the cvd cups with high pressure grease. After a few packs you can wash out the grease and use WD-40. Notes - I would recommend lubing them. If you notice they get tight you may want to clean them out and re-lube them. If you have any questions or concerns pm me on RCC at SDS Customz. |
