| Need Pictures - Broken Driveshafts..
Like the subject says - I need some pics of your broken, busted, or twisted driveshafts. The better the details, the better the pic, the better. I am working on a design of some super strong shafts, and am wondering how they are breaking. I know the common problem is the setscrews coming loose and causing havoc, or them not coming out because they are rusted in place. Stainless steel fixes that problem, but I need to know if the shafts fail in the tubes, at the universals, or some place else? Post up links or pics please. Thank you everyone.. |

Is there any need for other strong options? The Junfac, Mips en Punnisher shafts seem to do the job just fine!

If you are talking plastic driveshafts, they just break at the yoke ears, or the male splines twist and won;t allow for the telescoping. As far as options available to replace them... there's plenty already available. |

Punishers don't last long in a 12+lb TTC rig, on a brushless motor with 3s power. I am working on something that will be high $$$ and BOMB PROOF. High alloy, high strength stainless steel. Maybe even have needle bearings in the yokes.. Like you would dig these out of the wreckage at Hiroshima and put them in your truck, bomb proof.. Just to give you an idea, the company I am working with, makes shafts for medical grade equipment and for the U.S. Military... nuff said.. CVD's are VERY nice, but don't give the angles that these trucks some times need. The plastic shafts always seem to fail as scorpionking described.. I guess I should have asked for anyone that runs punishers or other all metal drive shafts for their carnage pics. And guys, if the carnage is the pinion gear all tore up, please include that. |

Don't think Revo shafts will fit, which ones you talking about? The diff to wheel shafts? Part number would be awesome. |
