how to put internal shocks? can i do it myself? is it complicated. was thinking about opening my shocks remove oil and put spring inside instead. would it works great? |
Re: how to put internal shocks? Yes. you will lose a bit of travel though cuz of the spring. You could also put the spring under for a droop setup or under and over for double sprung. It's all about skinny springs that, when compressed, don't end up very tall. |
Re: how to put internal shocks? i don't know what to say,but my nest suspension setup will be losi comp shocks, upside down with losi mini-t springs"thumbsup" |

That will give you a bunch of different types of springs. you want the ones that look like springs that come out of a pen to go around the shock shaft inside the shock under the piston or out side the shock body on the shaft. me i use on that sits on the piston just under the cap. right or wrong in others minds that's how i like it on my rig. it's a tuner thing. this sort of experimenting and tuning is fun. |
Re: how to put internal shocks? I ran internal springs once. I liked it. They were the Gmade transitions. They leaked and leaked and i scrapped them. Ended up with traxxas big bores. |
