micros in a shafty???

So I've heard of guys running dual micro cc speed controls in their moa, and even heard of some pushing 4s through them. My 1/10th sidewinder recently dumped on me and I was persuaded by my local hobby shop, and a few other things, to try a micro esc. I purchased a micro mamba and have it all soldered into my set up, but have yet to install everything back into my crawler. I'll be doing that this evening. I'm interested to know if anyone else has tried this and what their luck may have been?

I run a Mamba micro pro on 3s with a Brood 35t in my AX based shafty with great results. "thumbsup"

Awesome! That's just what I needed to know. I run 3s in both my ax-10 and my berg, also the 35t. Mines just an integy from the lhs. Thanks for the quick reply and telling me what I wanted to hear. Do you have dig on your Axial based crawler?

No dig, it's my sportsman rig.

I run a Mamba Micro Pro with a Brood 16T CVR and 3S in my non-dig sportsman truck. It gets warm after about 30 minutes of drivetime....

Mr. Holmes, you're the man when it comes to electronics. I run dual br-xls in my berg and they're fantastic. With dig and a 35t brushed, I know to keep an eye on the temp, but I'm wondering about drawing too much from the esc with all the low gearing. I run a bec too keep the servo draw down, but still curious what you think about this setup.

I'm curious to know if you are refering to the CC micro pro or the CC micro 25?

The micro mamba pro, cc bec, integy 35t w/ stock 14 tooth pinion, stock spur, DNA dig, all Robinson Racing in the tranny, and the lower ratio gear set front and rear.
