| Need help picking parts
OK so I have an ax10 that I bought a gatekeeper, new springs and white dot rovers. Everything else is stock. I've got a hundred bucks I want to buy parts with but I don't know what. Need some suggestions. I have the stock ae1 escape, stock 27t motor, stock servo and no bec. What do you guys think? Nit trying to go over 100 before shipping. If you can provide links. Thank you Sent from my i777 using Tapatalk. |

Did you add weight to the wheels, front biased? Move the battery? You can make stronger links using stuff from the hardware store. Threaded rod and stainless steel, aluminum or even brake line to sleeve them. 1. beef up your trans, Robinson Racing output and idler gear. 2. Servo & BEC 3. aluminum knuckles, CHubs and drag link/tie rod 4. CVD axles 5. lipo's 6. drive shafts 7. beef tubes that'll keep ya busy for a while Last edited by johnnyh66; 02-10-2012 at 08:22 PM. |

I have a gatekeeper chassis so all my links are aluminum. And I haven't weighted them yet but will be this week. I think I'm gonna get a 2s lipo and a new motor to start. Sent from my i777 using Tapatalk. |

If your still running the AE-1 with no hill brake.. I would be replacing that first.. Holmes hobbies BRXL.. Can handle up to 6s lipo and has a 5amp internal BEC.. The BEC alone means you won't really need an external one unless you running some crazy torque servos or rear steer with 2 high draw servos.. The hill brake and better power to your servo will put big smiles on your face. Sent from my highly abused iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mip driveshafts, esc with drag brake servo with bec knuckles and chubs lipo the stock esc you have won't run a lipo unless its the ae2. I got one I'm not using.

RPM/Volt. What do you want to know? If you are going to run 2s, I would suggest the 35t. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk |

I'm running the Novak goat system in mine 18.5t on a 2 cell lipo with a 87 spur and a 12t pinion and works great for me got plenty of enough speed to jump across stuff and awesome torque.

The reason I ask I found a deal that'll get me a Mamba Max esc with a CC bec and a 35t hand wound warrior motor and also a 2s lipos and charger for 150. Its used but is it a good deal Sent from my i777 using Tapatalk. |
