I would opt to upgrade Chubs, knuckles and steering linkage next, and consider BTA to get your steering out of the way.

You will soon be snapping the Chubs and knuckles. They are some of the weakest parts on the front axle.

i havent broke anything yet but im running the alum knuckles, still need c-hubs though..

i'd stick with the knuckles, c-hubs, definitely get an aluminum steering links, overdrive the front.. you can get away the stock driveshafts, both my friends run MIP's but there not needed unless you keep twisting the stock ones. what kind of radio/reciever are you running??

ok that'll work.. just was curious because if your still using the shitty AM radio crap then i'd add that upgrade to the list as well but since your not your good there.

behind the axle steering doesnt work with the gate keeper,I would do the od/ud and chubs as for drive shafts use these TRA1953 1953 Long Truck 1/2 Shaft Pro Pak (6) - Traxxas Cars/Trucks I have yet to break one of these on 3s with a 35t handwound and for $10 you get 5 spares I was twisting stock axial ones everytime out!!

can anyone recommend some knuckles. im getting the axial clockable c's but not sure on the knuckles. i want to go with the high steer ones but then my tires will be eating my shocks. they already hit them when the steering is locked one way and flexed

go with the hi steer knuckles anyway, just turn down the epa's till your tires clear.

Stands for End Point Adjustments its probably a little dial on your remote that says st.d/r next to it basically it adjusts the throw of your servo left to right. sorry not too sure about the ae1 transmitter configuration, I have the next gen ae2.
