| My Shafty Tracer Nano
Hi everyone, this is my AX-10 with some change... Spec : - Futuba 4PL - Tekin FX-R with handwound 35T - Lipo 3S 1300 mha - White HB Rover - CC Bec - 2 x Savox 1256TG - VP Dig - Axial BTA with C-Hub - Delrin Home Made link - Delrin Home Made Chassis - Home made 1in Axial wheel First, I cut my wheels to have a width of 1 inch. I put a weight in the wheel and the beadlock ring hold the weight : After, I bought Axial BTA and I put not 1, but 2 servo on axial plate (lots of torque...) : I did my chassis. I want a shafty rig, but like a Berg Tracer Nano no suspension in front... I have 4 inch of clearance I centered the axis of the shaft to reduce torque twist and I put my dig's servo on the side with delrin protection. I put a litle plate to protect my Lipo : I protected my motor with plastic silicone tube : With my Beetle body : Look one this picture, my clearance about a Emaxx tire : Thanks for your comments |

Cool! I've been wanting to do a tracer style chassis, but with the motor/trans shoved all the way forward. Looks good, I bet it works equally as well. You do know that bodies have to be a minimum of 3" tall, right? |

The trans should go all the way forward. That's what was done by my friend. The only question was how to extend the rear shaft. But the problem was solved. In any case such a mod should help a lot on a correct weight distribution.
