AX10 driveshaft ring issue

Hi guys.

I have just fitted Axial's driveshaft rings (AX30501) to my virtually standard AX10 RTC and have hit an problem. The one that fits on the rear drive shaft, closest to the gearbox rubs on my spur gear. My guess is that the RTC's standard fit slipper clutch plates have moved the spur assembly a few mm further to the rear of the truck and this is causing the interfearance. Does anyone have experiance of this and if so is there a fix (other than removing the slipper).

Thanks

Re: AX10 driveshaft ring issue

You can go down on spur size and up on pinion size to keep a similar ratio

Re: AX10 driveshaft ring issue

I had thought of that but could not find any part numbers or stock for anything other the stock item (I am in the UK). I then looked at the Wraith manual and it's spur is 80T (The AX10 is 87). I now have a Wraith spur and 13T pinion on order. Thanks for the quick reply.
