Default FF-4 Driveshaft

For those who have built up a FF-4 what are you using for a front driveshaft?

Thanks

Chris

I used Traxxas half shafts, and stampede universals, with axial drive shaft rings.
MIP's will also work. The standard AX10 ones. Look up DickyT's fastback. Fastback and FF-4 are the same basic chassis, just one has a body, one doesn't.

I cut down and re-welded a Junfac shaft. I kept popping Pede driveshaft ears even with Axial drive shaft rings and a 90t spur.

LOL I've got one too that I am building right now. I talked to Manning and he said the front is tight but is a straight drop in for a stampede shaft and the rear is two females and a section of male super glued into one of the females. I might try this but I do happen to have some MIP's laying around I'll see if that works too.

for my fastback i used the mip driveshaft kit for an ax10 WITH DIG. use the short dig shaft in front, used the longer shaft for the rear. i also used an mip wraith driveshaft end that is longer to help with the length of the rear.

I don't believe so, plus it would put the front shocks in a weird place. you would need to drop to a 3.5"-3.75" eye to eye shock to try and make it work.

ordered up a set of MIP's for a Traxxas Slash that should work. the guys at MIP are great. Very helpfull when you call them. Still might have to cut down the male end but should be right there,

Thanks all for the help. Just finished up the XR conversaion. I will get some pics up soon.
