Default 2006Shelby's 2.2s FF-4 Comp Rig

Ok Well i had a FastBack II and omg i loved the way the thing handled and proformed and since the changes to 2.2s haveing to run a body i have desided to make a FF-4 2.2s Comp Rig due to the fact its almost identical to the FBII.

Specs

FF-4 Chassis
Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL
TorqueMaster Pro Handwound 540 Brushed motor 35t
HB White Dot Rovers
Vp DH pro Comps (Front) VP SLW 4 (Rear)
Hitec 7950th Servo
OD Front Gears
UD Rear Gears
Sky Fly GT-3b Rx/TX ( Love this thing for the money )
D-Mount 4 link rear
VP 4 Link Battery/servo plate front
3s CX G3 1300mAh Hyperion Lipos
Axial Clockable Chubs
Vp 0 ack knuckles
Traxxas Big Bores with Orange Mini -T springs cap mod and D-cups

Incoming Pics:

So any input on this would be great i know looking at pictures can help others help me , And yes my wireing isnt done yet.

Dude you know i didnt want to but sadly the cut up body on the bodyless looked very tacky and well i just said to heck with it and broke down and went ff-4 because i loved my FBII. If the rules do every change you will see it transform back into my FBII.

Since you PM'ed me and asked for my opinion no matter how harsh it may be....

The rig looks great! The only thing I would change is the esc location. put it on the upper front links if it will fit, if not, on the rears If you can get the esc, bec, and rx all on the front links, DO IT!

If not just the esc and bec, with the rx on the rear links.

What foams do you have shoved inside your Rovers?

i have the new CI DD in the med all the way around and tbh i love them with med all the way around i found the new soft to be just a tad bit to soft when broke in and the med are just about prefect after there broke in. They are the narrowed med outers and the firm narrowed inners. Yeah i havent gotten around to moving all the electronics yet im about to break into that after i find a body because umm i forgot i slaughtered my last bug body for my FBII lol. Time to hit the LHS.

Very cool! I need to get my FF-4 back someday I need it for my Ridgecrest.

I agree about the bodiless issue, but for now that's what we have to live with. I think it's going to have more impact on Sporty than I originally thought though. Having a truck that is legal in both classes makes more sense to most people.

Ok Juan, I'll have Wade give me the rig, I'll take it apart and send you your chassis. It does have some grinding done to the pretty yellow powder coating to squeeze lcc in there though , all on the inside edges though.

I hate it when tape fails or I ruin a good job by rushing... been there a few times. I like the logo on the roof
