looks great man. i love my fastback, and as long as our local comps don't mind bodiless sportsman rigs i'm gonna continue to run it. the UGC chassis's just flat out work. ya need to throw a different body on it, or grow a beard!! lol

I always thought and correct me if im wrong, but I thought a ff-4 chassis being a "FRAME FORWARD" chassis version 4 the long ends go towards the front not the rear. Even on ugc's website pics, they all run it forward. I am not slamming you at all, just trying to make it work better with less effort on setup. A very nice rig though. Keep up the nice work

Underground Crawlers FF-4 "Frame Forward" Chassis

frame forward..to me that means as much of the chassis weight
as far forward as possible.
ive had no problems with it so far, balance point is just under the front
links at the skid.
hell its climbed a few lines in my rock garden the pro rig has problems going up.

Frame forward is the 60/40 design of the chassis

The FF-4 and the Fastback that evolved from it using the same geometry climb like mountain goats.

It's a combo of chassis design and the drive train of the shafty setup that makes it awesome. Pair the no-stall shaft driven setup with the under/overdrive gears and these shaft driven trucks can do some amazing things.

I found a few secrets from Mike Manning this weekend too!
