Played with the sporty yesterday and all I can say is WOW! Had this car pulling lines the Agent has trouble with. I did end up putting on the knuckles weights and so far the car is weighing in at 4# 11oz. rtr. If anyone is on the fence getting this chassis it is well worth it! |

Nice rig... Do you have any pic with all the electronic fitted. Just want to see how the central servo position affect the rest of electronics. Last edited by Colgout; 06-19-2012 at 06:36 AM. |

Nice work Chris. How are you finding the side mounted battery. Does it have much effect on the handling? What do you think of the RC Bros packs? |

The side mounted battery only weighs 1.7oz so and I havent noticed any negative effects on putting it there, if anything it helps to even out the weight of the motor some. I really like the RCBros batteries and they have been working great. The 450's last a long time in the sportsman and I can get about 2 coarses out of them in the XR10 and maybe around 3 with the sportsman.

I just switched to the side mount battery on my truck Saturday night and at our series comp on Sunday, it cleaned house. I noticed no negative effects.

Congrats! It does work well mounted on the side. Im still amazed that a sportsman can do what this car does, they have definately come a long ways from just a few years ago and this chassis is the main reason why.
