quick update..
i took the radio shack box off the back.. rotated it so the esc battery plug is facing forward..
i put the radio shack box on top where the battery stock location is.. did that and dont mind cuz it isnt that heavy. not like a battery..

then i mounted my 500mah 3s battery up in front....
put a deans on it...
set lipo cutoff to 10.2v
set cc bec to 6v

shifted stuff around..

pics later.. im soooo happy..

and WOW.. 3s is soooo nice... i thought the 27t and nihm battery sucked... i had a jerking when i go full throttle and it jerked and all that..

well that is fixed.. was the batteries.. my 3s lipo smokes now.. i got so much power im so stoked with it....

my oldest has soccer tournament now so cant take pics... will do later...

i still do have a flex situation going on...

the front works GREAT... super soft flexy... the back though seems stiff..
im wondering if when i blew the shocks.. if the shock oil i put in... if it is too heavy weight...

k got to run...

quick update.. waiting for total shipped for a pro-line tuber and light kit from a member up here...

but tonight i did a mod that i attempted once before.. got it this time..

WOW is all i can say.. i mirrored the transmission!!!!

my motor was on the drivers side/back.. now it is on passenger side front...

WOW what a difference my torque twist is gone.. from what i can see...
but that is on lenolium.. will have to get it on something with traction..

i drove it into my living room.. boosted on 3s full throttle.. and stopped.. hmm the brake is set pretty tight.. and she flipped right over onto its lid...

first time i ever had it stop and flip.. so while TT seems addressed... a new issue arises...

just picked up a 30 pack yesterday... im thinking tin for body panels.. then epoxy red dawg to it!!!!!!!!!!!!

she should be on this weekend.. well it is already on.. just need to redo the electronics..

i know you cut the body center up to "lower" it but since i have it mounted.. i dont see it lowering it much.. lower it and the front will hit the steering servo...

i had it mounted in 5 minutes.. since u didnt give me the spacers.. i simply cut the U apart and left the ends to the shocks.. so i could get the body on..
then i found some brass screws that were perfect length but head was too big.. hit on the bench grinder and they fit..

gonna get my soldering iron station from my bud tomorrow....
trip to radio shack to get 2 new small diy boxes and i should have her done this weekend..... less body panels...

i also bought the roof rack as i see the light bar fits on it..... cant wait for that to come in either... i know all cosmetic... but hey... that is part of it right!!!!!!! plus my baja body was getting really bad...

I was gonna make something similar to 1:1 chassis rails and try mounting the servo to the new rails. Sorry about the spacers, if I can find out the size and length. I will send them to you, I have your adddress.

Anyway, looks great, can't wait to see how it looks with all the finishing touches.

Update.. i have that kind of luck..

i posted up here looking for a proline tuber... no one had one to offer up so I jumped on this one from Devil Inc and he was nice enough to part with it...
theeeeeen I see a few others were looking and some were selling.. my luck....

so since i wasnt sure how i was going to build the cover hold down as this one was cut out.... i jumped on one from jason7395 with panels and not chopped...

soooo lowe and behold... this is the JasonDevil ProLine Tuber... HAAHHAHHAHAHAAA.

used the lights form Devil Inc, i bought the roof rack and jason's proline and panels.....

i havent taken any real outdoor pics but will be soon... cant wait...

i also took the 20 tooth stock gear (20/87) with 27t motor and put a 16t in...

here i took it out for a minute and it got a lil wet...

oh before pics...
i also took the stock electronics holder out and put a 2x1x1 radio shack box in... have to silicone it so it is waterproof....

more pics will follow when i cleanup my garage and get some light on the subject...

Thanks!

i got to get a better pic of the new tires...
they are heavy as hell though..

stock rock lizards on stock rims are 5.2ozISH...
the jc concepts weighted rims with rock lizard sidewalls and plow boys are 12.6ozISH..... way heavy but makes rig very stable...

so now im going with a 55t to spin this massive weight....

TTT...
she is getting 4ws.. just got a set of axles from the F/S section so once they come in.. i will get it installed and most likely run a Y harness in the beginning... then 3ch tx....
more to come... weather is getting better so time to get this thing going... been sitting all winter as we have been building/playing with micros...

I used an old Traxxas tx/rx from my T-Maxx for rear steer. Took the rocker switch off the tx and replaced it with a micro 3way toggle. Works perfect. The switch is spring loaded and returns to center. Can crab walk or turn tight. Nobody wants those radio's anymore. Could prolly find one CHEAP.

long needed update.

I got a spectrum dx3s in and 3 RX... so I did not put one in YET but...

I posted a part in WTB section for a 4 link servo holder and servo. no one has replied yet... while looking I realize my rear 4 link will hold a servo.
I have a spare front axle in the cabinet so took the ends off and threw them onto the back of the rig as it is easier than swappin a full axle out.
I then took my camaro foff front steering links off and put them on. The servo i believe is burnt so will need to get a servo.

sooooooon I will have 4ws.....

while there is nothing great about my rig... I can say one thing.. it is SOLID and I can take it off the wall (where I store It) and it ALWAYS runs... not broken although now it isnt working due to back tires not locked in....
