Default Ax-10 bind issue...

My ax-10 is having a bind issue. Sometimes it binds up in some places it shouldn't. Haven't done much to mess anything up. Only upgrades are aluminum links, punisher shafts, and 2.2 swampers. Its not the driveshaft angle because the angle is almost strait. I think it's the slipper. I've never messed the tranny and I was gonna ask before I effed something up. I really don't know what the slipper is for so can somebody explain what it's for and why its binding? I would try to figure this out but I'm afraid to mess up the tranny up. Thanks guys.

its not the slipper...
the slipper clutch is too take some of the stress out of the driveline..
when you bind it up instead of breaking parts it slips before something bad happens.

it sounds to me like you've got a screw too tight binding the axle or in the wrong spot.

try to isolate the binding..

take off the driveshafts and spin the front/rear axles..is it there?

spin the tranny..is it there?

if its the axles try backing off the chub screws just a tad and see if it frees it up..if it does free up its your screws..too long, they were rubbing the inner axle shaft..same for the rear on the lockouts.

It has stock gearing. A axial 55 turn motor running on a 2 cell. Ive never took the axles apart so I don't really think that's it. I'm thinking the motor doesn't have enough power to get out of some the binds....
