Default Ax10 odd movement/sound

Hi all, I recently got a new to me ax10. I'm in love.

I notice when it's moving the motor/movemrnt seems cycled as though it struggles slightly then catches up only to repeat. I checked for a damaged spur/pinion as I have heard/seen similar on some of my other trucks but they seem fine. I will try to post a video as soon as my charger for my camera comes in.

It's a 55t Novak and a Novak rooster.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I searched the forums but couldn't locate this information. (not sure what you would call it)

Rob.

Two things. Either the spur/pinion are meshed way to tight, or you have a bind in the drivetrain somewhere.

Man, I hope it's the mesh! I checked it before and it appeared to be good. I will re set it tomorrow. I wish I had my tools with me at work...

Thank you for the suggestions, I hope I screwed the mesh up and didn't realize it lol.

Thanks!

I still haven't had a chance to check the mesh again (long work day). Odd thing though, I was running it inside my other job and I noticed it doesn't do it when placed upside down. I'm going to still check the mesh but also look into the driveshafts.
