No the SC-1 is not one of Austins . The guy that designed this chassis lives in Mississippi . There is only 3 of them made that I know of . O8 I finished 4th at East Coast Championship and 4th at Nations in Moab. I took 2nd place over all in the southeast . I ran against the likes of Gatekeeper, RXCrawler, Kamikaze, JoeBruiser, RockCrawler, Fishmaxx, KillerTXT & CSR to name a few from SERCRC . I have not touched a comp rig sence East Coast Championship in 09 (April I think it was). So I am very rusty .

Well the chassis certainly looks like it will work.

And yes I remember that. That was the last time it was in Moab. Wish I could have been there. That was a different time. You were running your own chassis, Zack had 4 tires on his front axle....I'm sure you will pick it up again no problem.

No sir Steve I don't . I sold every comp rig I had in 09 . I was so busy running www.scaletrailrunners.com I don't have time to run any comp stuff . I sold the club back in Dec . I'm off the road with work now so I have sometime now . I thought I would run a 2.2s rig just for fun .

I agree too! It is a fun and competitive class. The 2.2s class is gonna be big next season I believe. Look forward to comping with you some in the future. We just need to get some of these other "retired" farts of the couch now. A lot of those you mentioned in your above post

Hello, Noobish question here sorry, but when I saw your post title I thought you had made your own "2.2s" haha! Is the "s" supposed to represent a different class? Also while I'm on the topic of noob questions, what does class 1, class 2, and class 3 mean? I see them describing scalers and comp crawlers.

Class 1 , 2 and so on in Scale and Comp is how rigs differ . Here is a link that will help you with any and all comp questions you might have .
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...1pw/edit?pli=1
See rules 2.5 to 2.5.8 for the 2.2s class .

There is another set of rules for scale you can find them in the scale rules forum .

As for making the 2.2s chassis no I didn't make this one . I have in the past and it is still on the market . They are sold under the Havoc/Hell storm name by JP Customs . I also help Mayhem Eng. a lot with wheels . I have done the Badd 8's / Crazy 8's , Trail Shooters , Slamerz and Buck~Shots
