| WaCkAdOoDlE Sporty build
Figured I would let you good folks get a sneak peek at my latest project I have been engineering in my head. I wanted to do this back when I did the original front side jones, and now it has become a reality.... More to come as time permits. But I will be leaving for Vegas next week, so I probably wont be able to work on it until after I get back. And no, this wont be an un-finished idea like the cheat |

Weight placement and all the gearing is done on the axle not the chassis

From what I understand all that it has to do is have 1 motor and shaft driven. This will be shaft driven, and only have 1 motor

Well, looking through the rules again I guess you're right. I just always assumed any type of moa was not allowed in a 2.2s class but it sounds like as long as you're only using 1 motor and 1 esc you should be good. Just so you know I am not trying to bust your balls on this. I think it's very cool seeing one off new ideas! Keep up to good work. |

Just like we talked about. Awesome! Now I expect a much more refined version in my mailbox when you get back from Vegas. Last edited by 4xFord; 07-14-2012 at 09:17 AM. |

Cool that looks like a fun toy. Also, looks like the motor didn't have to face the other direction after all. |

Sweet mill, I have the same one. A2z sells some nice add ons for sherline products. Can't wait to see what you can make with a mill!

lol, it did the way I envisioned it. But after talking to a good friend who works at my LHS, I got the right idea. He is brilliant, and I can always go to him if I am in a creative bind, and need some help. Our minds are the same that way, so it's nice having him to fall back on. All it took really was spacing the motor/trans back some. But I am running into problems with the driveline angles already. I will be making a wild chassis soon to fix the issue.

Are you trying to do one long rear shaft or 2 shafts with a carrier in the chassis? This would allow you to have more ground clearance and you be able to have a better drive line angle. But I am not sure what it would do about torque twist...
