Default FNG with Driveshaft issues.

I bought a Used AX-10 off CL. It has a bunch of upgrades and drives pretty well. I am learning quickly about this stuff. It has a RC-Solutions chassis. Based on my reading it looks like the output shafts on the transmission were upgraded and they fit T-Maxx shafts that are already on the truck with some adapters at the axles to fit the axial axles. well i bought the MIP drive shafts because i am having some clearance issues with the upper link mount points the the T-maxx shafts. I think the smaller MIPs will work great. Well the MIP fits on the axle side but does not fit the output shaft on transmission and even if they fit they would be too long. I could cut them down no problem, but i dont have the tools to properly open up the inner diameter to fit the output shafts. any ideas on what shafts i can upgrade to or why the shafts i bought and were told fit the AX-10 are too long. are there some better t-maxx shafts i can get?

Thanks,

Seth
