Dear Diary; Looks like we have another one! Holy crap this might turn into a conversation thread about my rigs before it's done. Quote:
I figured the diary thing would be funny, glad you're getting a kick out of it. Yes I'm on the East side, it may as well be the West side at the moment with all the rain we've been getting. Your truck isn't too bad, hell I've built WAAAY worse shit and didn't think there was anything wrong with it, at least you know yours has issues. See that Mr. Diary? Sweet isn't it? Dubya T

The Delrin chassis on rig #2 should be my old GC-2 as that "fuggly" orange and Blue body was mine. I sold it to Gord in Prosser. Set up correctly the GC-2 is a better chassis in my opinon and there are a ton of build threads on here to help setup.

This thread didn't have enough douchebaggery, so I had to register, not as a sex offender, just a member of this bb, I am the WT's sweet parts hookup.... |

Dear Diary; I narrowed up two of the XR beadlocks for the front of the rig so they would clear the shocks under full lock. While I was going goofy with the dremel I trimmed the tail off the bug body and dropped the tail of the rig about 1/2" now that the body wasn't in the way. I think the track width being a bit narrower will help if I ever actually comp this thing. Your friend, Dubya Tee. |

Werd, been busy with the move but first things first my R/C room is coming together this evening while the ol lady unpacks her kitchen stuff. Soooo nice to not be in the 5th wheel! I'll make a trip that way sometime after next weekend, my garage is still packed in storage and my tools at my brother's shop and let's face it, my garage stuff is more important than letting you buy me dinner again. I'll have an update to this tomorrow with action shots. Still haven't had the rok lox out yet and that's a problem that needs to be fixed!

Back off my chassis bastid! I'll make it that way soon enough. Just need to get the unpacking finished. We found the kitchen, dining room and living room and I got the hobby room started but we were so busy I didn't get to take the rig out before running out of daylight. I did find time to make a battery mount on the rear of the parts truck chassis so now it does sweet wheelies and jumps like a monster truck. . Got the boggers mounted on the narrowed xr wheels too. I could care less about the chassis but I wouldn't mind an fxr depending on the price...

| Re: The new bling hotness So keep it stupid! You were just talking today about wanting a shafty so sell that bwd chassis and I'll give you the gc3 to build something "normal" out of. Either that or hook me up, I need a bigger servo more than another speed control. |

Ewww moa's are icky! I respect the ability but I won't own one, I'm a shafty guy for life. We're in West Pasco now up off of 84th. The only place I know of that has good rocks is in Richland, I need to get my fix too! I went out to fintucky after work yesterday and high centered my truck twice and had to jack it up to put rocks under the rear tires to get going again. I won't be taking that truck down there again! Anytime you want to go out and play just drop me a line, I'm off by 5 and I rarely work weekends this time of year. Last edited by WHITE-TRASH; 11-07-2012 at 07:05 AM.
