Well, It has been a while. The car was good, the driver not so.. But we had some love hate and fun.. But now, after so many years, I found it was time for a rebuild.. As I did design de SuDu one and I still drove a prototype v2 from Tomi, I thought it was time to change it to the most recent version, de FL. I also made a change from axles.. Now I go to the wraith axle with some dlux parts on them.. And last but not least... The new one piece gearbox/skidplate from Dravtech.. I dealt with Tobias before and do some things and ideas together so I knew this was the best to do... I trusted his skill on this gearbox.. I already drove the ncd version. Which is a open design on a loose skid. Now I can fill those loud rc4wd gears with some grease.. Lol. Well I hope to update some more pics soon... Now it's only this. |

Rear axle almost done. Fitted with underdrive and some nice spools... Only need to change the screws of the link mounts.. These things are so nice.. |

Update.. Build the front axle today.. Need to change the servo.. My 7980 won't fit the dlux truss like I wanted.. Also build the chassis... As I'm a bit familiar with the SuDu chassis (Tomi and my brainchild) this was a easy build. The tranny fits awesome.... Great work Tobias... Now time to build up the links... |

I know you have the dlux sporty truss, I was in the same position. I love using the 7980 servos. I couldn't find an easy mod to fit the bigger servo into this truss. What I did find, is if you use the ultra 4 truss you can drill a hole through the truss and mount a 7980 without any mods to the servo. Then you can just trim the truss to your desired length. I've done this on the front and rear of my C3 rig. Let me know if you needs pictures. It's worth mentioning, because it's cheaper then buying a new servo. The mod also helps when you have to remove the servo. No need to remove the links and anything above it. |

Very nice. What driveshafts can be used with the Sudu one?
