This was just a joke. And a prototype. I'm sure Douwe will give the finished product a more hi-tec look. |

Nice one.... lol I think the final version will be more hi-tec yes... Hope to see the parts friday.. then i have the weekend to build!!!! Chassis is comming in cabon now (1.5mm thick) and the front parts i have to test first in delrin.. Just t make super of some measurements.. I also orderd a driveshaft from junfac.. 120-150mm for the rear... This way it is possible to place all the important parts even more to the front... Realy hope to have a super balancepoint without some knuckleweights.. | |

Just got the chassis in!!! Man it's nice. Did a quick mount (didn't use rear shocks, the are on the xr10 now an we have a comp next weekend). Lenght is now at 31.5cm (just under 31.75, wich is 12.5") Now i need to measure the links and find some nice bends (and wait till my beeftubes arrive) some pics of the super nice chassis!!!! |

Wow that looks really really nice! I might have to get one of these when I do a sporty build Can't wait to see it running and you'd better get some vids of it to So that's the most Hi-Tec you could get with the Elec. plate? |

Just did some work again... Mounted the servo, steering (temp version) and made some pics.. Man what a weight bias...... It's in front of the link mounts on the chassis side.. Ok still som VP weight on the knuckels.. Weight at the moment (no fx-r and bec mounted yet) with battery and motor is 1.9 kg so around 4.1 pound.. This is with the heavy wheels and stainless steel hardware ;) Last edited by douwe; 10-26-2012 at 08:12 AM. |
