Default Dutch AX10 sporty build / Tomi chassis

Nothing special yet..
Been collecting parts, drawing chassis and begging my wife for more hobbymoney

Part that are becoming ordered:
Beeftubes
XR10 c-hubs and knuckles (because i still have some vp weights) cvd's
Tekin FX-R and a nice 35t motor
Rear underdrive (ordered already)
Front overdrive
Steel Spur
Heavier outdrives

Links, and al platework will be designed by me and Tomy.

Dope. That looks very simila to something I was sketching up for HARDKNOCKZ, except I had the rear shock made to lay down more. I would personally add one more front upper link position above the 3 you alredy have

What material for the side plates? CF?

I really like your design though. Fantastic work

Thanks Guy's
I stil need to figure out some things..
The mountingholes for the upperlinks on the axle mount.. How wide should i make them?? Just as wide as the chassis? Or wider or more narrow.

@thescorpionking i'll draw one more if you think that is better..
I have some crawling experience, but all of you together have much more ;)

Hope to get the polycarbonate test version in a couple of weeks.. This has no hurry for me.. The next comps here in the Netherlands i still running with my secret agent xr10.

And yes, Tomy is a great guy and can make some awsome stuff..
Hope this teamup will work out great... (been drawing some nice wheeldesigns or him lately, and that is working out great)

Btw My english isn't perfect, so i hope you all can understand what i'm saying lol

Looks good. If those rear holes are an option for longer uppers, I like it alot. Depending on how widethe chassis is, maybe a little more triangulation might be helpful?

I'm excited to see this project develop

You are right, those rear holes are for long uppers..
The chassis will be as narrow as possible.. For the moment it's set to be 50mm But i hope to make it even smaller ;)
The rear holes are set at 53mm, so a little bit triangulation on the upper links.

Before it can be sold to the masses, I think it definitly needs some testing first .................................... by me

I have thoughts on it...
Maybe under the flag of NCD...
BUT!!!! Yes there are more BUT'S..

1... First we need to test everything
2... I'm becomming dad again at the end of this year, an i know someone
else is also becoming a dad again. So time will be a issue to produce
it in great amounts...
but we will see after some testing

Thanks..

It's weekend again. so back to the drawingboard..
Tomi is going to produce a testversion one of these days.. So i hope to have it in next weekend..
Then it is time to think about the links.. And see if everything is bindfree.
Still have to wait for a lot of part till i can drive..

Also have to sell half of my ax10 here in the Netherlands (all i need is the axles, so away with axial cvd, swx chassis, axial bta and shocks)
