Hahaha, We worked out a trade for some paint work, and I have a bunch of parts I need to send him for his sporty. However, between school, and life delivering a couple kicks to the nuts, it was easier for me to send the truck out while I put the parts together.

Just don't paint so many for him that you die from the paint fumes Or are you immune to them by now?

Eh...water based paints have no fumes. I sprayed urethanes for over 20 years with no ill effects. Did you see the size of that chicken?

You know he's been huffing paint since he popped out the womb. Look at the size of the pupils ofthe bandito in the first couple pics.

Decent thread Brudda, sounds like your gonna be doin some redbull themed paint jobs soon.
Have you come up with anything to limit that oversteer yet?
I still can't believe how damn light that rig is, definitely a bitchin truck.

Not yet but I definitely need to. It got me on a few gates last comp & is hard to work out once locked without poppin out uncontrolled.

After watching Nabil's Nats runs...he has the thing wired & didn't seem to have any issues with it but that COULD have something to do with the wheel time he has on the rig....OR the buckets of skill the dude possesses.

For those that don't know...the steering has SO much throw that it actually gets a tad bound while on power. I THINK it has to do with the CVD's being over cranked but I'm not sure yet. Once it's bound up tho...even the 7950 running 7.4v wont UNbind it until I can lose the load by either pushing through or taking a reverse...which as we all know either equals a point or the best case scenario...throws you off line & you'll need a new approach. Worse case is it unloads & hucks you into a gate or TWO like it did to me.

Nabil had talked about running a steer stop to limit the throw a bit but I just haven't gotten to it yet. I think the VP VVD's will also help with this issue but that'll be a wait-n-see kinda deal.

Basically this is the ONLY issue I've found with this rig & the fix seems easy enough.

Yes Travy Wahvee...I know AAALL about EPA's....however.......
i didnt THINK about em

Actually...I just haven't had the time to play with the rig & the steering thing didn't afect me until this particular comp spot. I know that Nabil has the servo itself programmed for 2,000,000% throw but I'll get some time on her this weekend....Mr. Smarty

On a side note...I'm still trying to figure out why the hell the front upper links are always offset with this chassis...look at the gap between the upper links and the shocks side to side...mine is the same way along with a few others I've looked at. This one even has a different axle mounted upper link mount than I run too.
I was at 4.7lb with all sorts of metal shit still on my ax10.
