How do you like the CF version? ever give you any problems with streangth and Such ? Movement or flex ?
And are those aluminum or Delrin cross braces ?
Thanks I'm glade somebody pointed out ur build to me.
Keep us updated and let me know thanks

I personally c no issues with cf on this chassis. Properly placed chassis braces and knowing it's limits is key.

My braces are aluminum.

Correct, non beadlocks. Tires are glued on 6 spots along the wheel.

Nice setup. I have the same chassis and mine sits at about 1/2" taller than yours. Are you running 4" shocks

I believe the scx10 shocks are 3.5" Chris suggested I run them over the big bores I had initially.

Wonder why he suggested that. I have Losi 4" shocks on mine.

The guys I know who prefer the SCX 3.5" over the big bore 3.5" say it's because of the threaded spring perches which allow easy adjustment of preload. Otherwise the big bores are highly regarded.

Honestly I use to think big bores were the best, but with these uber light trucks it's almost night and day with the scx10's. The shocks when built correctly are extremely smooth and predictable and for some reason work alot better.

I've switch to these shocks on both my 2.2 rigs

Yea, I think weight is a big difference. I may consider buying some at some point.

This truck will be seeing a minor facelift
In the next couple of days.

I had Neal at freq-e-skins make me a custom Parma inside skin. I wanted somthing different and sent him some examples. I like it and can't wait to have them!

What is included in "built correctly"? Obviously fluid and spring choice, and maybe custom extended perch if using short springs. What else?

Ideally the egressor delrin shock bodies, new seals and deburring of the parts tree piston so it slides smooth. Adding a thin coat of green slime to the shaft and seals and these are butter smooth.

For this build I am trying the stock shock bodies. I've heard of leaking issues but so far so good. I do have the delrin bodies on my berg and they are more consistent and smooth on the stroke but these should hold fine on my budget sporty.

Nice Build.

A query if I may.

Have you spaced the servo plate up to fit the servo, or is it sitting straight on the axle posts?

Did you have to do any work to the pumpkin servo side to accommodate the steerer? I've tried to spot it from the photos, but can't quite pick it.

I have a Kush build about to commence, I may use some of your cues for my build Downunder.

Hello,
No spacers underneath the post. I am using our RcBros servo posts which set the servo flush n the mount.

OK, Thanks, I might need to add a set of the servo posts to our next lot of weights.

I'll have a yarn to Highlucks about adding them...

Very nice. I like your front end setup, similar to mine. I managed to squeeze everything on the front axle.
