| Re: Margouillat AR60 Thanks After some tests and adjustments, here the support the servo in its final version. It will be probably made in CF in the future. I can exploit all the potential of steering of AR60 axle The tire in full steering comes to "lick" the casing of the axle In lower, I manufactured a skid for two reasons:
The new supports of links more simpler, the old ones were in 2 parts. @+ |

I'm honored! Lol The setup is looking really good! And those link mounts turned out very nicely. Good job. |

The fab work I'm seeing on these build threads is inspirational. Everyone is trying to MAKE the solutions to problems we all come across. It's just sweet!!

I like the servo location! I'm diggin the on-off fab work. My go fast wraith has its servo in the same spot. Works well. |

Looking really good man! If you made that servo skid from Teflon, you will be much happier. I just covered my pro skid in Teflon, and it makes a world of difference |

I made my first skid in teflon, it is a nice materials. To make this skid was rather long with my micro milling machine… I will wait to have a little used it before changing some | |||

Very nice. I have been subscribed to this build since it was started. Liking all the tweaks and changes to the design.

Top effort TotoRax, the fabrication time you're putting in is awesome. I'm sure it will crawl well from all the hard work |

Hi, To advance in this project, I decided to pick of the parts on my CrawlerKing which sits enthroned for a long time on a rack. I recover the final gear/pinion and the spool. It is an old RcBros spool, which should not be produced any more, but it's good Modification of the Universal joint to function with improbable angles On my bench that looked more… clean I use some shim to limit the end play of the universal joints and to center them well compared to the point of pivot of the knucke. A little video for test the universal joint... Test Universal joint @+ |

Awesome.... Look like you achieve great angle of the uni joint.... I want to confirm with you, the gear box you have is RC4wd R2 V2 type isn't it, and you made new end plate with CF plates. I really like the motor being so forward, I am planning to build a sportman rig using R2 tranny for next year and am starting to collect part for that. |

Awesome build. I really enjoy seeing rigs that are built, not bought. For me, the building process is as much fun as driving the rig (except when stuff doesn't work at all....hahaha). |

Hi, First tests today There, the new revolutionary pendular system of weight fixed on the sterring rod. Warning, patent in progress But after tests, there is always as much torque twist After having tested several configuration of links without progress… I decided to reverse the direction of rotation of the axles. For the front AR60 axle, it is easy, but for the rear with the AX-10 , it is complicated more, it is necessary to remake a support of upper links. The tests show a sensitive fall of the torque twist They is cool, but it remains still much of work to equalize the frame in version with AX-10 axles… Then, preparation of equipment case. |

It would be easier to just get another AR60 axle for the rear...

Very innovative adjustable bias weight system Have you liked into a counter rotation unit like EGRESSor used before? It spins the rear driveshaft in the opposite direction for the front. I would think it'd be a simple modification for you to make. |
