Default AX10 Fastback II

I bought a stock AX10 off a friend. I have tuned on it some to make a better crawler. Then I started looking for a chassis to upgrade too. And I found the Fastback II, I decided this would be a great platform to build off of.

This is how it was set before the chassis swap.

This picture shows the 4 link that I set up on it.

Talking Re: AX10 Fastback II

This was the last crawl I took it on before the new chassis was to be installed.

Here is a down hill shot on the same course. (This is my personnel rock course at my house)

Here is the build as of last night. I still need to do a good set-up. I just got it together and put it on the shelf till I can tune this thing. I need longer upper front links, I still need to put my new rear 4 link plate on to clock the rear axle, and make a new set of links for the lower rear links. I will try to find time tonight to get a couple links made. I am going for about 2" from the ground to the skid. So far so good. I really like how this chassis shows off the dig unit.

There is something missing here. What happened to your shock mount crossmember?

I am going to make one out of aluminum and not use the delrin cross member. Like I said I just got it together last night. It is far from being finished. This is just a starting point.

My kit didn't come with a alu or any thing for the shocks. and I plan on getting the battery on the front axle. And I am going to get a Holmes BR-XL with a 35 or 45 turn motor. The ESC on it now was just to drive it around my house. Yea tonight I plan on replacing some of the links(The plastic must go). I just threw what I had together to get a idea what I needed to do to improve on. This rig is far from done, just give it time. After I get a set of links on it I like, I will post the length of the links for a starting point for other to go by.

Updates? link lengths? Pics? Considering ordering this chassis, my only issue is links. I'm no engineer, so any help would be appreciated.
