Question Is there such thing as too much caster?

So for the life of me I can't get these freaking VP Wraith C hubs off the premium splined tubes. I tried sticking a ti-nitride driver between the two kingpin holes and lightly tapping with a hammer over a towel.

Then tried a heat gun on low setting to try and loosen the splines. Long story short they aren't coming off! Well to compensate I went ahead and did kept it as is.

As for the steering drag link is this a bad idea to run it behind the servo plate?

Something looks off about this whole front end lol...

Your caster angle looks great to me. I usually run around 35 degrees on my trucks. Once the wheels and tires are on, it won't look so ridiculous.

And as for getting the chubs off... I set the ears of the chub on top of the vice jaws with the rest of the axle towards the ground. Then tap out the beef tube with a large punch or 1/4" drive extention.

That axle looks great BTW! Be sure to add extra screws towards the inside of the beef tubes to hold them in place!

My friend probably has too much caster and the wheel angles get all wonky when he binds the front end in rock. Part is due to small amounts of slop in the universals and elsewhere, but the caster seems to contribute. For the most part tho, it works and looks impressive.

It looks ok to me too (the castor angle). You can still do some changes to it when you setting up the links, just dial in a longer upper link to reduce it. But it does look fine as it is.

Why there are spacer between the servo plate and the mount? would be better to keep everything low.

The drag link is fine, less hung up at the front.

In fact, there is nothing wrong on you axle, you worry too much..... Except some mismatched screws...lol
