Default Indy

First, thanks to Sniper for the inspiration.

A basic rundown of parts...

Ofna/Jammin CRT.5 diffs and suspension
Axial trans
35t handwound motor
Old school VP Revolvers
Rovers

I plan for this build to be a culmination of a lot of ideas that I've had, but never had a suitable platform to work them in to. Since this one is already starting out in left field it is the perfect opportunity.

One pic so far...enjoy and speculate at will.

I think you should get the Vice Grips in CF to save weight & judging by the exhaust pipe ya have there, yer gonna use 1 big nitro motor.

So why not run Axial Exo diffs? That way you can run over/under gears...

Independent suspension stick chassis? That's revolutionary.

Because then I'd have to buy stuff, and I'm not going to be buying anything for this build. If I ain't got it or can't make it, I ain't gonna use it.

Its roughly 8" from the trans output to the rear diff. I could either go with one looooooong driveshaft, or a delrin carrier bearing and use two short driveshafts.

Delrin FTW.

Looks cool but I'm too lazy to speculate. I'll wait for more pictures.

I know that seems like another stolen idea from Sniper...and it kinda is...but I've never messed with cantilevers before and had to give it a try. Also, it was a damn good idea on his part. Just so it doesn't make it seem like a total rip off, this is the rear. The front will retain the traditional setup since the CRT.5 shocks are shorter than the SCRT and shouldn't get in the way much.
