Nice rig, I can't wait to try one of those chassis. What made you change bodies?

A little more work today swaped the long shaft to short found the space was hitting like tomi said
Installed a 0.5mm spacer at the top to fix problem
And now its mounted to the skid
A small amount of grease and now she runs smoothly
Cheers Rino

Thanks for the update, Rino.

I assembled 3 transmissions last night and found out that the press fitted bushing on the long output shaft is 9.2mm in diamter as opposed to 8.25mm on the short output shafts. When I drew up the transmission I only had access to the shorter shaft. I will change the housing to accept the longer shafts as well.

As for the needed shim, it unfortunately escaped me that the spacer will travel a little bit into the countersinking for the flat head screw. I want to keep the hole countersunk on both sides to allow users to mirror the transmission. I will think of a solution to this asap.

Tomi

PS. your shim on the bottom of the transmission is the wrong way around. Turn it upside down and rotate 180 degrees for an easier installation to your chassis.

Great choice Rino. Good to see other quality HH motors in the rigs.

Have you run the rig at all yet with the new gb installed with old elecs?

Looking good. Made me a couple extra sets today for mine. Hopefully I won't have to use them.

Hi guys changed the upper links and a little tidy up of the rig and it sits around 4 pounds which im happy with considering the gears arent drilled yet and still old motor is in and running a extra half brass ring on the front axles (tomi original brass rings so that equal to 2 rc bros rings )
