Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Mounted my 7950 and made a drag link for it. Steering cycles nice and smooth. Now I need to relieve the uni's for smoother operation. http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...psc65fbe0f.jpg http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps2a8355b2.jpg http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps17b88235.jpg http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdf0ba82f.jpg |

That turned out bad ass. Looks a lot like my dual lipo mount for the ar60 super I made awhile back"thumbsup" |
Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Very nice, good thing about the AR60 offset pumpkin is to allow all sort of different servo and electronics placement. Well done. |
Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Yeah, with the offset pumpkin, it definitely opened up more options for what you can do with the placement of everything. I have a similar setup on my ax10 axled sporty and its a little more cramped. |
Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch NICE!!!"thumbsup" |
Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Outstanding work E! Think I might need you to build my next sporty:oops: Super clean and thought out."thumbsup" |

Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch This is looking to be a great build, some really nice ideas coming together well. I'm liking that plate design, it's great to see people making solutions as they go. |

Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch No real progress made today. But I did make a supply run to the hobby shop to get the last few things needed and a fresh cut on the 35t. Tomorrow will be a wiring day! http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps0e55d4a8.jpg |
Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Very nice progress Big E! Man...you woulda quit crawling if you couldn't make anything? I guess I better have a "Getting Out Sale" soon. Ive always been a little envious of those that can look at a rig, see what would make it better & take it from concept to fruition. Being a professional artist allows me the vision but my fab skills are lacking. Although I AM quite handy with the 5-Axis Dremel. 8) Which means I have some ideas coming to the eMachine soon! "thumbsup" Keep it up brutha!! J.D. |

In Australia, you will be paying between double to 3 times the price if you shop at LHS. |

Nah, I wouldn't have quit but I sure wouldn't be elbows deep in it though. Being an artist and having/seeing a vision of what something needs to be is half the battle. You got skills that are a necessity. 8) 5-axis dremel, lol! I am a firm believer that 'dremel fabbing' IS a skill and for whatever reason I have a hard time with it. The bat phone is always on!"thumbsup" |

Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch super job, neat wiring, but.... please don't get upset with me... Could you have mounted the electronics on the battery side, distributing the wiring though a hole to pass underneath the leccy plate? Then you'd have had concealed the wiring. Or is the way you're thinking and how you've done it now, it has less chance of snagging a rock so long as you stay right way up? |
