Made some simple steering stops yesterday for the wraith knuckles. They seem like they'll do pretty good as long as the plastic c-hub holds up. |

Having that wide spot for it to hit is better than alot of stops I've seen. It's a great idea. I'd guess a hollow ball or spacer mounted vertically would hurt the C faster.

Simple and functional. The way it should be Only problem is that it looks closer to 45* than 70*.... |

Actually I have no idea what it is. I just made a template that still allowed me to run my 850 batteries. The tire still drags on the battery pretty hard at full lock. I'll have to get some steering angle pics up. If I went to a smaller battery then I could squeeze out some more angle. Seems to be enough though. We'll see in AZ if it is, especially if they set some crazy tight turns for shafties. | |||

| Re: 8-454's Numero dos! My take on the Sucker Punch Up front I have a panther truck foam wrapped in a Nova outer. Out back I run the stock pink foam. I've been running that foam setup for a little over two years with good results so far. I do have some new Nova's on the way for a little more modern flavor and testing. |

I have been getting a little drive time on this thing here and there lately. Went out last Saturday with a group of people and did some course driving that went well and I also went out before that and burned some packs in a tuning session. After my little session I came to the conclusion that I didn't like the way the scx's felt on big verts and side hills passing 45*. Luckily I had a set of 3.5 Bigbores waiting for this build. I knew these would be okay for what I needed as they're what I run on my 1st s-truck. For the new specs. Fronts: -89mm -30wt -med mini spring Rears: -85mm -30wt -firm mini spring I ended up running the rear shocks at the stock length to get the rear of the chassis down and take some of the rake of the skid out for personal preferences. For the front shocks I swapped in a 'pede end with a few turns out to get the shock up to 89mm to keep the front height similar to the scx shocks. I'll get new GC specs up soon. Over all this truck is working excellent! Its very smooth on the transitions. It adapted well to the Ar60 link separation differences from the Ax10 axle. The ground clearance from the raked skid is a welcome bonus, although it does change my attack at rear link geo, not really a big deal. I am just used to driving an tuning a flat belly chassis. I'm feeling pretty confident in it for running it at nats. To do list for this weekend: -Make new steering stops, already made a template for 55*(my first ones only netted 47*) -Swap out the wraith trans case for a standard one -and possibly swap in my 16t crawlmaster for some added smoothness Blurry shock pics... And trans goodies... |

Super stoked to hear you are starting to build some confidence in the rig. hopefully one of the guys can get some video of you on course with this bad boy at Nats. I continue to look forward at the development this truck makes. Keep up the graet work |

47* stops (thinner of the two) and 55* stops. They came out a little beefier then necessary. And mounted. Left Right Knuckle |

I anticipated wanting more steering, especially after Trav pointed out that it looked like I was only getting 45* out of my steering, so I broke down and bought some of those trendy little batteries from maxamps for this rig. As it turns out, they worked perfect for the 55* stops. Still clears the shocks too. Batt clearance |

I was going to go to war with my ex wife and the only option I had at the time to be able to get the lawyer fees was sell the bike. It sucked I miss that thing everyday, shifted on the right, paucho rigid 2up4out 16"apes. Ill dig up a picture of it.
