Sway bar Wraith/Universal

When you moved ur uppers under the link plate to make room for the sway bar kit, what effects did you notice?
Any negatives or did you only notice a positive change?

x2

Tappedout's, Addicted's and Chris's threads have been my go-to threads for my SP build. Hate to see one go by the wayside.

My decision of selling my sucker punch rig wasn't an easy one just didn't want a shelf queen. Building another rig definitely , just not a S-rig.

Yes.. After moving links down to clear sway bar I only ran a few packs, but rig was handling fine. Being 100% honest I was going to remove the sway bar and mount my upper links back on top of rear axle mount just felt better to me (with links on top) not enough time with sway bar to pinpoint exactly it was I didn't care for.
Probably all in my head

Thanks.. Was a little worried about that..
I run and have ran the same link mount on 2 chassis and have tried moving it under the link mount.. Never felt right to me either..
Mounting sway bar kit now.. If I use a back hole of the chassis, I can leave my upper links on top and run the sway bar kit.. Atleast by looking at it how it is now..
I'll tweak and test to see what happens with it. If not, it worked pretty good before the kit..

Thanks

I would imagine going under the link plate like that would lower the roll center a tad and make the rear axle want to articulate a bit more freely, but it'll also reduce your AS if you keep the same chassis side UL position.

I'm using Duuuuuuude's LW rear link bracket, so I don't have the ability to move the rear links up or down at the plate. I had to mount Travis's CF brackets upside down (they curve up now) for proper clearance which makes the swaybar vertical links quite long. Certainly not ideal as they may bend a bit under load.

Will test it out at Sunday's comp, but I think Travis's brackets could be a bit straighter to accommodate differing rear link plates. I may have to fashion some straighter plates out of CF if this doesn't work.
