You say you replaced the V1 Crawler Innovation steel outputs with new aluminum ones? I thought the new ones were 4340 steel. Does he make them from both materials?

Don't think the AL's are released just yet. They are/were prototypes.

Thanks for the link. Added a Crawler Innovations logo. I am reluctantly going to have to trim the body down.
Been tweaking on the suspension the last two nights to get it perfect.

I'm working on a couple exciters as well and I'm hating that the cutting is in their future. That body looks great! Is it just the front bumper and the inside of the rear tire wells that has to go?

Maybe just the front end and possibly some out back. Still tuning on the suspension now.

Got a few test packs in today. This rig is instantly better than my FF-SZ setup.
It's somewhat similar to my FF-SZ setup but the front shock placement on the chassis is quite a bit different. Also, the Villian is a 50/50 setup vs the 40/60 on the FF-SZ.
Liking the setup so far. I have the base VP weights on and will probably be cutting them in half. Dont think i need all the knuckle weight anymore.

Random pictures.

I love the 2a body! Are you worried about the H9 arm bending?
