| Hawks NCD 2.2s
Hello people Long time ago I wanted to build a 2.2s, but had no good cheap chassis. Last week, I then found the NCD chassis Tomy :-) Quickly ordered and super fast delivery. Thank you Tomy At the weekend I had time to build the chassis. It is very simple to build and everything was there .. Here are a few pictures: to continue Ivo |

| Re: Hawks NCD 2.2s I know, the front shocks are too short. I only have 70mm ground clearance, making even longer rod ends to the Shocks.. approx 83mm is good. |

Why not add some preload to the shocks to lift the belly up ? Looking good, Lets see some front and rear shots of your rig Last edited by Haastnooit; 10-14-2013 at 06:57 AM. Reason: smartass ipad suggesting faulty words |

As haastnooit said. You need to pre-load the springs.. ;)

sorry I'm not sure if I understand you correctly what is the point with the preload, the shock is no longer ... is an original SCX10 shocks I have to make the shock longer, right? Tanks Ivo |

No, you have to twist the ring where the sping rests on.. On the shock body.. We all use scx shocks.. This is from my sudu (the first prototype ;)) |

lol now I understand what you mean. maybe I made the front link too long. I measure the links and write here .. Total length is 31.5 cm the links are made of carbon, if I have the correct length then I make aluminum |

It has nothing to do with the links... Here's an easy way to understand...if you take your rig and pick it up at the skid...just until the tires start to come off the table...do the springs have a large gap between them and the nut looking thing on the shock...the preload collar? You're running the Mini-T springs on shocks designed to run a dual spring setup. That means you need something to take up that space OR you need to spin that collar down towards the bottom so that the springs have some preload on them. Clear as mud? |

| Re: Hawks NCD 2.2s I have the damper still limited, which were previously mounted on double agent! Without limitation is doing great, ground clearance is about 85mm! Thanks for your ideas .. I'll post pictures tomorrow |
