Bulldog Mod Tubes..... Coming soon

I was inspired to do a update to my old AX10...... I am in the process of doing a Wraith / XR10 mod to the front axle..... I will most likely make these delrin tubes available in the vendor section

Are you going to spline them?

ClassiCutCustoms 10-01-2013 11:26 AM

No..... Way too much tooling involved for what they are. I do have a couple other tricks to try instead..... Keep in touch

How do these differ from the 2 options we already have?

Thanks for asking..... Not by much as someone already said who is quite observant.... ;-)

I wasn't able to get in touch with CTBM and decided to make my own. In looking at the c's I noticed that a step on the end would likely help secure the C better and added that feature to keep them from coming loose. I will make a batch and if anyone wants some I will have them in the vendor section..... If not there are options to choose from......

Take care

Barry

Lol, good one Chris. Im not as picky as others when it comes to someone selling a similar item as I am. So long as I dont see people trying to under cut my pricing, Im cool with a little competition. Afterall, thats how the sport progresses right:mrgreen:. In fact, I have a new tool in the works to make my splines even better than before on my tubes so that should be sweet.

But I can also play the pricing game if it goes there. There have been a lot of little birds tweeting at me recently, so Im not worried

Lookin good so far on the build. What other plans do you have for the build? How do you plan on keeping your caster from moving or cases from separating?

Guys,

I am not in a rush here...... Just trying to get my 9 year old son's truck up with the times. I am lucky enough to have a fishing buddy who also happens to be a great machinist and one of the best designers on this board. I also have about a dozen close fellas on here that I bounce ideas off of and together we are coming up with some cool stuff. Basically I am making stuff for my self and if they work well I am offering them to others to help progress this hobby. Some people machine with a hammer and torch to adjust tolerances...... My buddy takes his digital calipers to a friend and has them professionally calibrated! He and I get along great because I don't settle for second best...... I like things perfect. At the comp last weekend someone told me pictures don't do my products justice. I am not done yet...... More is in the works.
