Yup, very happy. This transmission has been flawless, it will never break, its quite and its super light with RcBros gears in it. Best of all the gears are enclosed so I wont ever have to worry about crap getting into the gears. I can see losing 3oz if you had the RR one piece gears in the stock tranny, that thing weighs a bunch!

Could someone point me in the correct direction for the gears needed for this transmission. I must be searching for the wrong term at the vendors listed when trying to source them. Thanks

Almost another year on this tranny with RCBros gears and Ive had ZERO issues. This is the best tranny on the market and I highly recommend it!

Thanks Chris...... I am glad it has been a winner for you. I think you were one of the first batch sent out and that is great news to hear it is still in perfect condition.

Delbert,

Thanks for the interest and questions. I took great care during the design process to make this as close as a direct fit as possible. The tranny fits in the location of the stock spur gear and about the only difference is that the outputs shift forward. I have recently learned that the mount can be flipped and the outputs end up in stock location if there's room for the motor. This is a scaler setup......

The tranny and gears weighs about 60 grams ready to go and that is metal gears too! I am not sure what "stock ratio" is for sure but my calculations are with a 87/14 and with a 11t or 12t it is right at it. I have sold a bunch of these and some have three of them. I make the locker to order and can make them drilled or not and any length that works. They also can be standard or mirrored configuration and I suggest each customer get with me and I can do my best to get the best setup for you.
