Could someone point me in the correct direction for the gears needed for this transmission. I must be searching for the wrong term at the vendors listed when trying to source them. Thanks

Thanks Chris...... I am glad it has been a winner for you. I think you were one of the first batch sent out and that is great news to hear it is still in perfect condition.

Delbert, Thanks for the interest and questions. I took great care during the design process to make this as close as a direct fit as possible. The tranny fits in the location of the stock spur gear and about the only difference is that the outputs shift forward. I have recently learned that the mount can be flipped and the outputs end up in stock location if there's room for the motor. This is a scaler setup...... The tranny and gears weighs about 60 grams ready to go and that is metal gears too! I am not sure what "stock ratio" is for sure but my calculations are with a 87/14 and with a 11t or 12t it is right at it. I have sold a bunch of these and some have three of them. I make the locker to order and can make them drilled or not and any length that works. They also can be standard or mirrored configuration and I suggest each customer get with me and I can do my best to get the best setup for you. |
