I just finished cutting the CF links and preparing the rodends, I have to get some new epoxy to finish them up. I hope I will get it done before the weekend is over ... BUT ... I got alot going on right now so we will have to see how things unfold |

The CF tube I used is 4 mm outer diameter with a .75 mm wall Making the links is real easy, I suggest making a linkboard to keep them straight while curing |

...yesterday a little package arrived. First i would like to say BIG thanks to Ronald for making these nice upper's for me! Great job, Ronald!!! There is only one reason for me to choose that way...i really enoy going with light rigs and these carbontubes are really light. Not every part here will be the ligtest version, but with upper's i will try. Perhaps some people think they are not strong enough, but i will test hard if the hold or not. I think these way will work if the chassie don't push the upper's. Perhaps i have to limit the shocks to prefere that. We will see what happen at the comps they will follow next season. At the last pic i changed the hollow's to the alu version and ended at 11g/0,38 oz. Stephan |

| Re: ZZR's Shafty...NCD's SuDu one FL Sorry Ronald, but you still have to hold out...just waiting for some axel parts, shocks... I think before you did have the chance to see what you are looking for, it need some days more |

Axles are ready to post up. Inside i went the new aluminium Uber tubes way from CreationFab - Chris did a great job on these parts!! The last post with the carbonupper's i wrote that not all parts in these tread will be the lightest version. The "lockout/Tube-all in one" will be one of these parts but i like these parts much more than the delrin one. These are stiff with a cool and clean look...i think. Stephan |
