...last saturday i went to a good friend named "fritzthefly" and we did have a loooooonnnng build session. Now the rig is not finished, but not far away from that point. He did a lot of helpfull work at saturday for me, but first i would like to show you the electropnic parts. Fritz did a cool job on the elo - now i have the chance to switch the parts easy if i have problems at the comps. More pics of the parts and rig will follow soon if i could find time after work - taking and posting pics need a lot of time...

Default ZZR's Shafty...NCD's SuDu one FL

Today i could find time to take some pic's for you guys. Pic's from the new NCD custom transmission box will follow soon...
Shocks are still stolen from my pro rig, because i'm just waiting for my shock's with killercaps from RcBros.

i have to use the red spacers. Otherwise the steering link could push the upper carbonlinks

delrinlinks

4mm titanlinks which fritz made for me...after we finished we spoke about to change to a straight version in front. At rear they are fine.

Hi Stef,

Very nice and clean build

For lower front link, I test some thing of different (I do not have too much the choice, I do not have any more titanium of 4mm ).

In top old links and bottom the new ones. The differences is obvious

Classis lower link : a threaded rod of 4mm fixed in an aluminium tube

New lower link, 12g of less.

This link are simple, I replace the threaded rod of 4mm by carbon round and which I glue (like the upper links)

The advantage it is that there is no shoulder on the level of the rod ends and they slips very well without hanging..
Now, it remains me more than has to test...

Just a thought for you on the rear link mount. I got the idea from Ronald so I won't take credit for it, but I added a crossbrace between the two mounting ears.

All these new shafty builds certainly have created a lot of renewed interest.

Would it not be advantageous to rotate the skid and get the tranny forward and the motor on the right side?

The tranny can be mirrored for left or right side and the designer of the tranny Tomi has made it so the motor gives it more foward bias to the rig

Stephan, I am afraid your pics don't do justice to the NCD parts. You make them look much better than they really are.
