So what do ya do when you have 1 of 2 sets of new TurboTech wheels!? You go ahead and take a dremel to them! 1 of 1 custom TurboTech wheels.... I cut down the spacer and the hub's to get that clean look between the TT wheels and the Shift hubs by Lattice Innovations.. Couldn't look any better in my opinion... Specially when matched with the 1.9 counter parts.. Now I'm down to body choices for BG's... |

Sell the flame lid and run the hard line. Thrasher just doesn't lay it down anymore and I haven't had time to work on my freehand flames. Some things, regardless of popular opinion, arnt meant to be used |

Nice job on the wheels. Looks really good. Now shave those shift hubs down so you can't see them, and you'll get an A+ |

I dunno know David, it's begging too be ran! But everything is for sale, for the right price... ;) I knew someone would catch that, Kevin.. But with the dremel in the trash, I think some black paint will be my option for right now.. Or a pair of my black Shift hubs.. |

| No sir, you did a good job on the 3rd place Matt. I'll be first to congratulate ya! I questioned a judges call and the points didn't get marked. I'm marking them. On the other side, Thanks! The truck did some neat stuff Sunday during 2.2s and has been steadily impressing me. Now to get it setup for Rausch Creek 4x4 park, for the NENQ! Hopefully neither of us have any 7980 stalling issues. I have to go over some of my geo or swap out my back up 7980 and see if maybe it's just my servo. Maybe bump it to 8.4v first! |

Time for a little change. I couldn't take the VP motor plate hanging out half a inch from the motor. So when I saw a ytc CF motor plate in person and realized how smash it was, I put thought into getting one.. Then I found one on the for sale section, so I scooped it up. I looked back thru Rowdy's thread and saw his mounted with cap screw's. (Have know idea what trickery he used for that tho.. Prolly some fancy aftermarket top shaft, which I didn't have). Well, I couldn't even got a button head screw between that and the slipper eliminater. That and the center hole didn't line up and the 4 screw holes weren't the best "drop in" fit.. No harm no foul, I could use the center spacer with my setup anyways.. All mounted up and working perfectly.. Then I decided to Finally mount my Dlux sway bar kit.. I didn't use mounting plates like most and it's not Exactly how I want it, yet... But I wanted to get it on and give it a run at the comp tomorrow. I put a couple packs thru it on my home course and seemed OK to go.. If it gives good results at the comp tomm, I'll put more time into it before the NENQ at the end of the month. (Get ur tickets now!) ;) I can see the bonus of it at the NENQ, as there is a lot of opportunity for side hills and long climbs. I hacked my old beat body for clearance and seems good to go. |

My top shaft is axial stock, I'm not sure what issue you were having but it looks like you got it sorted out. I no longer run that trans in my 2.2s since I got a Hulksta, that Axial trans currently resides in my Wraith. Last edited by ROWDY RACING; 06-08-2014 at 08:55 AM. |

Axial stock, like the slipper top shaft? Cause that would make sense with the length.. Anywho, the large center hole that the shaft goes in/ sticks out of, was off center and would have been unusable in normal application.. Luckily, this didn't end up normal.. Lol.. It worked out great as is and no more motor plate hanging up on the rocks! |

Dunno man, something is different. It's all worked out tho. I'm sure the center hole and lack of room was the reason it was on the for sale section? But that didn't scare me any from making/getting it usable..

Last comp of the session, for GSRCRC, this last Sunday. I got video of my less the stellar performance's.. Lol.. On the plus side of quick crawling, I was the only one to finish 1st course. Time was a killer on the course. Schoolys, C1 Chaotic El Nino III: http://youtu.be/--WTw71Tbys Course 2 was a blast! Specially with the snakes swimming around and coming back to chill on the start gate after we where done.. Schoolys, C2 Chaotic El Nino III: http://youtu.be/HWEBVN5xTv4 Course 3 was nice, right up until gate 10! Hahaha.. Schoolys, C3 Chaotic El Nino: http://youtu.be/dkSY6Sh5zyI After ECC, I changed the rear shocks, which wasn't a upgrade. So it's goin back to how it was. I also had the Dlux sway bar on for this comp, which wasn't the right place to try it out or just wasn't comfortable with it. It Might stay for the NENQ.. |
