This build is so nice I would be scared to crawl with it. I hope you don't mind but I am using your last shot as my desktop wallpaper. I have never seen a knuckle setup that technical. The jet fighter skins are very appropriate for this rig.

Who's brain child are those knuckle and weights?

The drive shafts is a propeller shaft from S.D.I 4x4.

The sway bar helps to prevent torque twist while still allows you to use soft springs for the suspension.
Did you have to shorten the propeller shaft? Their length is listed at 142-150mm. 142mm seems way too long right?

Hehe, nah this will not be a shelf queen, hopefully the opposite
Go ahead, it is flattering that you like the pictures that much.

The knuckles are Dlux V2 knuckles and the weights is dlux loaded dice knuckle weight system. Awesome stuff!

Yes, I had to shorten the shafts. Only need to cut it to the right length then file a new flat area for the set screw.

I have been playing around making 3D printed skids recently. I made a copy of the NCD skid for the SuduOne FL with Axial transmission. I received it yesterday and it looks pretty good and I hope to be able to check fitment next week.

Yes, I am sticking with Shapeways. I see no reason to find another supplier at the moment.

I have had these skins a while but it has taken me quite a while to finish the body. Thanks Michelle for the awesome work

I also got some skins for my transmitter to match the body.

Long time since I updated this thread, but nothing much has happened. To many other projects has been prioritized.

But atleast one little new part. I have made a battery/electronic tray for the Dlux trusses. It can either mount under the servo mount (like on my pictures) or between the servo and the servo mount.

It got slots for a velcro stripe to keep the battery in place. I plan to run my battery and receiver on to of the tray and atleast the bec under the tray and maybe also the esc.

If anyone wants one too, I can put up a vendor thread for it as I ordered some extra copies of it.

Not that my opinion is valid here, but one thing I always thought was a sacrifice with the DLux trusses was battery/ESC/RX/BEC placement. Another clever solution done in such a clean manner. Well done!

This rig was finished and shipped off to Norway a while back. The only thing I kept was the body.

A new build is under going, but with less fancy parts. I will post up a new thread when time permits. Right now I need to focus to get the new one ready for the Nordics.
