I got the axles mounted up, lowers are VP Ti, uppers are slow Ti for now, but I may need to adjust the lengths of the uppers a little still, but the links I had laying around , good for first mock up. Everything clears great as I suspected, I can even move the trans further forward , which I AM going to have to try. I do have a slight rub on the driveshaft and front upper link mounting hardware, but if I turn the screw around and put the nut on the outside it will clear fine. Truck weighs 2.017 lbs, 915 g, and balances on the front lower link mount rod ends, with a servo, battery, electronics on the front axle knuckle weight should not be needed.and truck should be in the lower 3 lb range I AM hoping. Not that I AM a fan of superlight trucks, but just to show it can, and if I want it heavier, I can add weight where I want it to be. My thoughts where I want the servo and battery mounted up |

Rick Rig is looking great. Glad to see you stuck the motor out the front. I think its benefits will out weigh the negatives. |

Super cool servo mount. Should allow multiple options for links, with good geometry any way you choose to build it. Awesome. |

| Re: Snipers Prodigy well it gets even better I got the battery mount tonight. carbon piece, i was feeling a bit too much green. it mounts with standoffs with the same holes as the servo. the battery sits low beside the servo on the right side, the electronics will be on the left side when all done. top view bottom view side view the tab on the front of the battery mount goes into a hole drilled into the axle truss to support the front of the mount. |

I'm loving this setup. With the servo mounted the way you have it, it looks like guys could use it on the narrowed AR60's commonly seen. The battery couldn't fit where you have it, but the servo would still be sitting very low and in a great position. Has me considering AR60's for sure...COG is way better than what I have. Very interesting/inspiring. |

Not interested in the rowdy truss; but maybe the housings. I'm still trying to figure this all out before I make a move. | |
