| Snipers Prodigy
I am going to try and build a "Normal" sportsman truck this time around. I got a Prodigy chassis from Turbotech. Its a toxic green G10 version, mine has to full side plates instead of the normal one that has the cutout for the spur gear clearance, and my skid is not drilled or lightened. the chassis looks great, and has a ton of adjustments that can be made. I have a set of axial axles, with all the goodies, over/under, front beef tubes, wraith knuckles,VP CVDs, BTA steering,7950 servo. or i am considering a set of narrowed Wraith axles. still undecided on that part. |

I have a prodigy on ar's and love it! With dlux knuckles theres no need to narrow the front axle. I running 10 3/4 track width on BC's. I do run a narrowed rear axle but ont cause I have creeper bobs ti axle shafts for a narrowed ar. It's preforming rather well so far my only complaint is electronics and battery placement without having the front 4 link plate for placement options it's a pain. I have the drawing and program done for the new trans, I hope to cut it and fit it tonight after a quick stop at the LHS for some more goodies for this truck. |

I got the rev 2 trans cut and installed in the chassis, fits good. I may have to move this thread to the AR axle section, pretty sure with the motor this far forward i will have driveshaft clearance issues if I do not use the offset pumpkin. compared to my current sportsman truck the trans do not need to be this far forward, if you run scx axles, it can be moved back a little for better driveshaft alignment Last edited by sniper; 02-18-2014 at 05:09 PM. |

Thats totally awesome dude, but I've ran my motor in this position before and have experienced adverse effects from the rotation of the motor. Do you expect to see any issues with this. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk |

Looking good. Why do you need a chassis? Just make the gearbox the chassis. Problem solved!
