| My NENQ Prodigy Project
I was asked to fabricate a custom BTA tierod by a club member for his new TurboTech PRODIGY chassis and after having the chance to really have a look at the chassis, I new I had to have one. A chat with TURBOFEST and in no time, my own chassis kit was at my door. I plan to have everything swapped over from my Suckerpunch in time to run the Prodigy at the upcoming Northeastern National Qualifier. Links can be purchased for the chassis from TURBOFEST, but I have opted to fab up my own, due in part that I'm just swapping my axles over from the Suckerpunch. Lengths will be a little different for the front uppers since I'm retaining my NCD 4 link plate for the moment. I went with the Carbon Fiber version as well. It's 90% Carbon Fiber with the shock arms being made of G10. Spacers, hardware and both front and rear 4 link plates were included. It was even assembled upon arrival. WIN! And for all the weight conscious, the chassis weighs in at 3.2oz. with all steel hardware. This will be a basic swap over from my Suckerpunch with just a few changes here and there. The axles will remain the way they are with the exception of the rear 4 link plate. The TurboTech rear plate will be used. In the future, time permitting, the TurboTech front 4 link will be installed and a BTA setup will be run. Something like this: For now this is the setup I will run on the chassis. The trans is basic and will remain the same except the C.I. longer output on the rear will be eliminated as I no longer need the extra length. Awaiting on titanium rod to arrive and then it's on to some links. Last edited by AddictedtoRC1; 06-11-2014 at 10:20 AM. Reason: title change |

Looking good Brian, I'm sure it will be clean like the rest of your rigs. |

Looks good bro. I may have missed it but if your making new links, I'd like to work something out for the sp links. I'm already stuck rebuilding it after today. Let me know.

Unfortunately the links are going with the Suckerpunch to it's new owner.

Had a chance to get the links finished up and ready to go this evening after work. I may swap out the 3/16" uppers for 1/8" uppers to gain a little more clearance at the shocks. Aside from changing out the uppers, I had a chance to get this thing together. I couldn't be more happy with the stance of this chassis, and I'm more then pleased with the way it all came together. I have to tweak the lowers a bit yet since I'm 1/16" over for wheelbase, but it's coming along nicely. Received my replacement BR Mini also today from Mr. Holmes so I will have that all wired by the weekend if all goes as planned. Last edited by AddictedtoRC1; 06-11-2014 at 10:52 AM. I hope the name change has hindered updating this thread. It was cruising along and now, no new updates:(. Then again I'm thrilled to think it could be because your working on mine;). I'm looking forward to seeing the sucker punch, now a prodigy unfold here! From one great chassis to another. We are blessed to know the fabricators we do! Keep up the good work!

Thanks David. I haven't had any updates due in part to hashing out your mini and Slick's Prodigy. My mess up in mathematics set me back as well. Titanium came today, so I'm hoping to have the uppers finished tonight.

| Absolutely. And I know Travis isn't offended in any way, but some people only see the negatives in every situation. Titanium showed today and once I get David's little mini monster squared away, some updates I will have. |

| Re: My NENQ Prodigy Project I'm sorry I won't have time to paint it bro. I did pick the nicest xciter from the stack tho. Some get weird waves from mass production. You have a sick idea tho and I look forward to seeing it. J-shlick might see his half finished when he comes to visit Saturday tho. Giveaway lid will not be seen until Saturday of tho. Sorry guys. I really want to think this over.
